THE SHERATON ATLANTA HOTEL ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF ADDITIONAL HOTEL RENOVATIONS
ATLANTA, GA. (December, 2002) - As part of a multi-phase, $30 million hotel
enhancement, the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel recently announced the completion of
its lobby, restaurant and bar renovations.
Lobby renovations included the reconfiguring of the concierge desk to better
serve hotel guests, developing several new seating areas for guest comfort
and adding a television console and two Internet stations.
Collage, serving breakfast and lunch daily, delineated the dining space
from the hotel's deli utilizing sheer draperies and adding an inner circle
of fabric to create visual diversity. Within Collage, a private "Piedmont Room"
was created for special groups and intimate gatherings.
In addition to the changes in Collage, the hotel's signature restaurant,
Fandangle's received a modern transformation resulting in a sleek design
that provides a synergy between function and style. Fandangle's also
added a private Wine Room for small groups. Both of the restaurantís new
private dining rooms offer high-speed Internet T1 lines, as well as separate
sound and lighting systems.
"We are committed to providing our guests with the best possible
experience," said Paul Breslin, General Manager of The Sheraton
Atlanta Hotel. "These new hotel improvements confirm our dedication
to this goal. The renovations have brought the standard of excellence
at the hotel to a new high."
