The SHERATON ATLANTA HOTEL NAMES SENDEN DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING
ATLANTA, GA (January 2006) – The Sheraton Atlanta Hotel has named Daniel
Senden director of sales & marketing. Prior to his promotion, Senden served as
director of sales for the 760-room hotel, which features 83,000 square feet of
meeting space. In his new position, Senden is responsible for overseeing all
sales, marketing, advertising and public relations efforts for the downtown
Atlanta hotel. The promotion was announced by General Manager Kevin Kobishop.
Prior to joining The Sheraton Atlanta Hotel in June 2002, Senden served as
director of sales and marketing for Chateau Elan Winery and Resort in Atlanta. Previous
to that he served as director of sales and marketing for the Atlanta Capitol
Plaza. He is a graduate of North Georgia State University.
The Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, located in the heart of downtown Atlanta just two
blocks from Peachtree Street, is known for its exceptional offerings for
groups. The hotel was recently awarded Association Meetings magazine’s
prestigious “Inner Circle Award” for the second consecutive year, where

hotel over the last four years, which included the remodeling of the 760
guest rooms and suites, the addition of wireless high-speed Internet access
to guest rooms, and dramatic renovations to the hotel’s lobby, two restaurants
and Martini Bar.
Additional offerings at The Sheraton Atlanta Hotel include a beautiful indoor/outdoor
swimming pool and garden area, whirlpool, poolside bar, 24-hour fitness center,
full-service business center, concierge, gift shop and The UPS StoreTM on-site. Rooms
