Sheraton Atlanta Hotel Announces Promotions;
Cesar Wurm, Jackie Evans, Christina Thompson And Candice Evans To Accept New Positions

ATLANTA, Ga. - March. 13, 2008 – The Sheraton Atlanta Hotel (www.sheratonatlantahotel.com), winner of Starwood's Franchise Sales Team of the Year award, announced today a number of promotions within the sales department, which will include Cesar Wurm to Director of Sales, Jackie Evans to Associate Director of Sales, Christina Thompson to the position of Sales Representative and Candice Evans to Catering Sales Manager.

"We are pleased to announce Cesar, Jackie, Christina and Candice's new roles within the hotel, and are confident these adjustments will reap great benefits for the Sheraton Atlanta, as well as our clients and guests in the coming years," said the Sheraton Atlanta's General Manager Kevin Kobishop. "Each of these associates has done an exemplary job exercising our core values of warm, comforting, connections, while consistently leading our sales department to success and it's very exciting to see them all advance together."

Wurm originally joined the Sheraton Atlanta sales team in 2001 and has been a top sales person during his hospitality sales tenure. He started with the company as an intern and quickly progressed into the sales office where he handled the Midwest and Southeast markets. Later in 2007, Wurm took over as Director of Corporate Sales and has yet again advanced most recently as the Director of Sales. Critical to the department, his primary responsibilities will be to achieve optimum revenue for the hotel while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.

Beginning as National Sales Manager in 2004 and transitioning to National Accounts Manager in 2006, Jackie Evans hasn't stopped climbing through the Sheraton Atlanta ranks. As the new Associate Director of Sales, she will help Wurm manage group sales and make decisions for all the Georgia and West coast markets. Not only representing the world-class hotel at trade shows and community events, Evans also serves as a board of director on the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), is a committee chair for the Georgia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (GaMPI) and active in the Georgia Society of Association Executives (GSAE).

Having joined the team two years ago, Thompson is an up-and-comer with a passion for the hospitality industry. In addition to her previous assignments, she will help to grow the hotel's client portfolio, maintain brand standards including the Sheraton Promise and provide valuable contributions to the team's room sales.

As the new Catering Sales Manager, Candice Evans will focus on soliciting new and existing catering accounts, continue to monitor and enforce program deadline dates and work with other departments to provide quality service to the Sheraton Atlanta's guests and clients.

Wurm, Jackie Evans, Thompson and Candice Evens along with several other members of the sales team have all helped earn the honor of being recognized as Starwood's 2006 Franchise Sales Team of the Year.
